During their visit our students took part in a fun and inspiring workshop led by Upsculpt, where students got hands-on experience turning marine plastic trash into amazing whale sculptures. Using plastic debris collected from Long Island beaches, they learned how art can help raise awareness about environmental issues. The experience encouraged students to see waste in a new light, think creatively and share their powerful messages through their artwork. Their artwork will be featured in the “From Waste to Whale” student exhibition at the Bridgehampton Museum.
