Bridgehampton Students Attend Women in Law Program

Today, 11 students, under the leadership of Mr. John Reilly and accompanied by a faculty chaperone, participated in the Women in Law Program presented by the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York and the Suffolk County Women’s Bar Association. Thanks to Mr. Reilly’s coordination, students were able to take part in this educational and mentorship opportunity to learn about careers in the legal field and the advancement of women within the profession.
Students heard from a panel of professionals from across the legal community, including justices from the Supreme, Family and local courts, as well as law clerks, attorneys, mediators, stenographers, legislators and court officers. Panelists shared their career paths, discussed their roles within the legal system and provided insight into the many opportunities available within the legal profession.
